Social Impact
Community outcomes
DT Infrastructure delivers projects responsibly, ethically, and sustainably, with respect for local cultural heritage and a focus on minimising environmental impacts. We collaborate with clients and partners to ensure our work creates lasting value for the communities where we operate.
Through the implementation of innovative social, procurement, cultural, and environmental strategies, we create jobs for local people, engage local businesses, support workforce diversity, provide training and development opportunities, and protect and celebrate cultural heritage.
We also embed sustainable and renewable methods into our projects, ensuring benefits for communities both during construction and long after completion.
Social procurement
We actively partner with local enterprises and Indigenous-owned businesses across our project locations. Since 2023, we have invested more than $100 million with Indigenous businesses, social enterprises and local communities through sponsorships, donations and partnerships, as part of our commitment to building a more inclusive and resilient supply chain.
As active members of Supply Nation, Social Traders, and local Indigenous Chambers of Commerce, we strengthen opportunities for diverse businesses and encourage our subcontractors to embrace the same approach.
Our Reconciliation Action Plan guides these efforts, embedding respect, opportunity and collaboration into the way we work.
WGEA
We value a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. Guided by the principles of the Workplace Gender Equality Agency, DT Infrastructure actively champions gender equity across our business.
As of September 2025, women represent 24% of our workforce, significantly higher than the industry average of 14% (ABS, 2023).
This achievement reflects our commitment to creating opportunities for everyone, challenging industry standards and driving change across this sector.

Education and advocacy
We are committed to creating positive social outcomes that extend beyond the delivery of our projects. With more than 1,000 employees and a strong network of contractors, we are not only creating meaningful jobs but also supporting the communities where we operate.
We prioritise engaging local businesses and Indigenous enterprises within our supply chain, helping to boost regional economies and open doors to new opportunities.
Our advocacy extends to some of the most pressing social issues in Australia, including domestic violence prevention, cultural diversity and inclusion, mental health awareness, and improving opportunities for Indigenous Australians.
Internally, we raise awareness and celebrate important social and cultural causes. We believe when our people are more informed, they are empowered to drive meaningful social outcomes for our industry and the wider community.
Employment and training
Creating pathways into meaningful, long-term employment is at the heart of how we deliver social value.
We collaborate with local organisations to create employment and training pathways for survivors of domestic and family violence, recognising that economic independence is crucial for long-term recovery.
Our programs span the full career journey from apprenticeships and traineeships that provide hands-on experience, work experience opportunities for students and placements for undergraduate and graduates, with a focus on developing future leaders.
Our commitment includes prioritising employment opportunities for Indigenous Australians and delivers pre-employment initiatives that empower participants to thrive in the infrastructure sector.
By investing in people, we help grow stronger communities and a more inclusive infrastructure workforce.
