Connecting Western Sydney with safer, more reliable and flood-resilient journeys.
The Richmond Road Upgrade between M7 Motorway and Townson Road is a major infrastructure initiative supporting the continued growth of Sydney’s North West.
Delivered for Transport for NSW, the project focuses on a key section of Richmond Road in Sydney’s growing North West, improving connectivity between the M7 Motorway, Marsden Park, surrounding residential communities and nearby employment precincts.
Delivered by DT Infrastructure (DTI) in joint venture with Gamuda Australia, the Richmond Road Upgrade between M7 Motorway and Townson Road will improve capacity, connectivity and network resilience along a key transport corridor in Sydney’s North West.
The project scope includes road widening, upgraded signalised intersections, new bridge structures, active transport connections and priority signalling to support safer and more efficient movement for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists.
With flood resilience a key focus, the upgrade will also help maintain access during major weather events and strengthen Richmond Road’s role as a reliable evacuation route for Western Sydney communities.
