DT Infrastructure (DTI) has been engaged to deliver major accessibility and station improvement works at Rockhampton and Bundaberg stations. Delivered for Queensland Rail, these upgrades will create more accessible, inclusive public transport infrastructure across the regional network.

DTI is responsible for the comprehensive design and construction required to modernise these facilities and ensure daily commuters and visitors have equitable access to rail services.

A key priority of the delivery approach is preservation, with DTI integrating modern, compliant infrastructure while respecting Bundaberg’s rich heritage and revitalising Rockhampton’s 55-year-old transit hub.

DTI will keep both stations operational throughout the construction phase, ensuring timetabled passenger and freight services continue without interruption.

The upgrades will leave a lasting positive legacy for the region. DTI is committed to generating significant regional economic development by creating meaningful employment, training and procurement opportunities for local suppliers and contractors throughout the delivery phase.
