Mark Mackay

Mark brings over 25 years’ experience in the general management and leadership of engineering, services and construction enterprises. During the majority of his career, he has been able to shape the direction of businesses, which has resulted in strong cash generation and profitable growth, often in new market sectors. Mark was instrumental in founding DT Infrastructure as it’s known today, back in 2015. Mark has focused strongly on developing project controls solutions, shaping and building the leadership team and always ensuring the business is underpinned by best practice Safety and ESG outcomes. Mark holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Hons), MBA and most recently attended Columbia University, Advanced Management Program.

John Anderson

John Anderson is DT Infrastructure’s Chief Executive Officer and a member of our management board. With more than 25 years’ experience spearheading the construction of complex infrastructure across Asia, Africa and Australia, John has established a strong track record in the delivery of end-to-end civil, rail, tunnelling, marine and wastewater projects. Previously Chief Operating Officer for Hazell Bros Group, John has also worked for John Holland in Australia and South East Asia, where he led teams that delivered projects totalling more than $2.5B in value, including Perth’s City Rail Link Project and the Siglap MRT Station on Singapore’s Thomson-East Coast Line. A skilled leader and negotiator, John is dedicated to optimising operations while maximising value and sustainability outcomes. His collaborative and adaptive approach to achieving positive results within budget and scope parameters make him well positioned to lead DTI’s continued growth in key sectors.

Simon is a key contributor to our long-term organisational development, taking a visionary approach to identifying emerging trends and opportunities. He has more than 34 years of experience spanning motorways, roads and structures, rail, water and industrial developments under design and build, design and construct, alliance and private funding delivery models, Simon is a key contributor to our long-term organisational development taking a visionary approach to identifying emerging trends and opportunities. Simon previously worked as Project Director for the PPP Gold Coast Rapid Transit project (with McConnell Dowell), and as Senior Project Director (oil and gas) on several projects for CPB Contractors, such as Wheatstone LNG plant, New Royal Adelaide Hospital PPP, Regional Rail D&C, Westall Rail Upgrade, Macarthur Wind Farm, Olivia Newton John Hospital and the M80 Ring Road. His experience is backed by his qualification with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil and Structural Engineering, Construction Management.

Darren Crichton

Darren is DT Infrastructure’s Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Management Board, focused on driving the management of commercial, finance, legal and project controls and systems streams across the business. Darren leads the team with a wealth of experience developing and implementing strategic plans and initiatives to drive business growth, improve performance, and achieve commercial objectives. Previously to his role as CEO, Darren was DT Infrastructure’s Chief Officer – Operations and Chief Financial Officer of Downer Asia Division, with a market focus on civil, engineering and consulting work. He has also held senior finance executive positions at the Leighton Holdings Group. Darren holds a Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Commerce, Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (ICAA) and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Anthony Holmes

As National Operations Director and General Manager Northern, Anthony is a driven and committed leader who is dedicated to managing complex projects in a way that creates the greatest efficiency for DT Infrastructure’s clients. With more than 35 years' experience spanning a wide variety of sectors, including light rail, marine, pipeline, mining, gas, coal, roads and rail, Anthony has a strong understanding of the interrelationships between infrastructure assets. Beginning his career with Sinclair Knight Merz, Anthony has continually worked with high-profile firms such as Shimizu Corporation, McConnell Dowell, Baulderstone and Walter Construction Group – Asia Pacific, where he served as Project Manager. His wide-ranging industry experience is backed by his qualification with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) from the University of Queensland.

Cormac Brady

Cormac has amassed a wealth of industry knowledge across his 34 years in the engineering and construction industry, holding executive positions in Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia and the United Kingdom. Prior to his appointment as General Manager WA / SA, Cormac held the position of Director and Business Development Manager for a multinational contractor in Southeast Asia, General Manager of Rail Division WA and Project Manager of Package A, Perth to Mandurah, NewMetrorail project. He also worked as Project Director on Malaysia’s Electrified Double Track Project and as Engineering Manager on Malaysia’s 1,800MW power station coal importation terminal and in Indonesia on double track project. Cormac has held positions as Project Manager with Rio Tinto on rail expansions, Process and Services Engineering and Installation Manager on Lucas Heights nuclear reactor as Senior Project Manager for Egis, and as a Mechanical and Electrical Manager for Biwater Overseas Limited working on rural water supply schemes across the UK and Malaysia.

Ewan Henderson

Ewan is a highly accomplished leader in the rail industry. Most recently he served as the Alliance General Manager for the Djilang Alliance to deliver South Geelong to Waurn Ponds Duplication project in Victoria. With a wealth of experience across both the UK and Australia, he has successfully led numerous major rail system projects. Ewan is passionate about creating values-driven teams and embedding social impact, First Nations engagement, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives into every project. Over his career, he has held a range of key roles, including Project and Operations Manager, Commercial Director, Project Director, and Steering Group Member for various joint ventures.

Kurt Vella

Kurt has more than 20 years' experience in infrastructure and building environments leading multi-disciplinary teams in winning and safely delivering precinct scale integrated developments in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Prior to his role at DT Infrastructure, Kurt held executive leadership positions in both Australia and Singapore. From the Marina Bay Sands Integrated development to underground metro rail network projects, Kurt brings diverse knowledge and experience that sparks passion and commitment towards the pursuit and delivery of infrastructure developments. Kurt holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and member of Engineers Australia (MIEAust).

Marc is a prominent figure in the rail industry and an accomplished leader in the rail systems space with more than 20 years' experience delivering and managing complex rail infrastructure projects. Marc brings a wealth of expertise, industry knowledge, and commitment to excellence, with his strategic mindset and customer-centric approach allowing him to nurture strong relationships with clients and drive operational excellence. He has established a robust network and earned the trust of key stakeholders during his 16 years in the Australian rail industry. Throughout his career, Marc has held senior roles in renowned organisations such as Siemens, UGL and Alstom, where he showcased exceptional leadership as a Regional Accounts Executive and Project Director on major rail projects. His outstanding leadership enables him to balance technical and financial aspects to ensure optimal engineering solutions and value-driven outcomes. Marc holds a Master of Engineering Project Management from Bond University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Polytech Lille, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University Grenoble Alpes.

Adam Leary

With over 20 years' experience across diverse sectors, including major civil infrastructure, building, oil and gas, and mining projects, Adam possesses a deep understanding of the importance of empowering teams for inclusive and productive work. His expertise extends to overseeing complex teams and managing human resources, industrial and employment relations on a large scale. As General Manager People, Capability and Communications, Adam strategically aligns human resources practices to ensure legal compliance, meet client expectations, and achieve optimal project outcomes. Prior to this role, Adam held senior HR/IR Management and Executive roles within leading national and international firms including Downer Transport Projects, Bechtel, Thiess and JBS. Adam's qualifications include a Master of Business Law, Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Personal Development.

Andrew Baker

A meticulous, technically-minded leader, Andrew leverages more than 35 years of civil engineering experience delivering major rail and road infrastructure projects across Australia. He brings together key skill sets across engineering, commercial and project management, overseeing major infrastructure projects for tier-one contractors and public and private client organisations. As General Manager (Engineering), Andrew is a collaborative leader who drives his teams to work innovatively and seek exceptional results in delivering complex projects. He has leveraged these skills in delivering high-profile rail projects in complex urban and rural settings, including the Cross River Rail, Inland Rail and Level Crossing Removal Projects. Andrew is currently responsible for the overall engineering delivery of DT Infrastructure’s projects and brings valuable knowledge from his previous role as Regional General Manager – Rail Queensland at John Holland.

Emillie Sweeper

Emillie currently heads the legal and insurance functions, with responsibility for all related matters concerning DT Infrastructure projects whether in pre-contracts, delivery or close out. Her broad experience working in private practice and working in-house for both principals and contractors provides a well-rounded and commercial approach to supporting and advising the business. Previously, Emillie held positions in both the transactions and project delivery legal and commercial teams for Downer Transports Projects, providing guidance on a diverse range of infrastructure projects. Emillie commenced practicing at King & Wood Mallesons, where she worked on a variety of contentious and non-contentious construction and infrastructure matters, before transitioning to an in-house role at Stockland, one of Australia's leading residential land and housing developers. Her role involved advising on a multitude of brownfield and greenfield residential and commercial developments. Emillie holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons), Bachelor of International Business and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. She is also a registered adjudicator in Queensland and Northern Territory, member of the Australian Constructors Association Board and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

An exceptionally dedicated safety professional, Marc is committed to our safe delivery philosophy, minimising risks to team members, the community, and the environment on every project. With more than 15 years' construction experience, Marc has worked on various projects including rail, light rail, gas pipeline, mining, water, and tunnel construction. Prior to his current appointment, Marc held WHS management roles at Downer Transport Projects, Thiess, McConnell Dowell and CPB at project and regional level. Additionally, he brings a wealth of experience from his 13-plus years within the Australian Army and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration.

Pia Hansen

As General Manager Project Services, Pia leads the functional business and operational project services streams including overseeing payroll, facilities management, consolidation of IT services including management of all project and enterprise systems, Business Intelligence team, Integrated Management System management and IGM project reporting. Her collaborative leadership style ensures the efficient management and seamless delivery of project financial and commercial administration services, as well as meticulous document control. Pia’s early career included 10 years as National Finance / Business Analyst with CBA Institutional Banking and ASX-listed FMCG companies, Southcorp Wines and Fosters. She spent the last 15 years working across a range of activities for top tier construction companies in project controls and project management. Pia joined Downer in 2015 working on the construction of an ammonium nitrate plant in the Pilbara and moved to Downer Transport Projects, successfully building the Project Services team. She holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics majoring in International Trade and Finance, and Bachelor of Engineering (Civil).

Royden is a highly-organised and results-focused accounting professional with more than 25 years’ hands-on experience within Australia and overseas. Royden’s extensive background provides a wealth of well-rounded accounting and technical competencies, coupled with a keen attention to detail and ability to analyse intricate business requirements. Throughout his career with top tier businesses, he has accumulated a breadth of knowledge across various industries including mining, manufacturing, construction, and engineering, which has equipped him with a deep understanding of complex financial landscapes. As well as excelling in financial management, Royden has also honed his leadership skills through supervising and mentoring selected teams, allowing him to foster strong relationships, and effectively recruit, deploy, and nurture employees to reach their maximum potential. Royden's qualifications include a Masters of Cost & Management Accounting.

Carolyn is a legal, commercial & governance professional with over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry. She has extensive experience advising on a broad range of complex infrastructure projects throughout the project lifecycle. In addition, Carolyn’s broader experience includes business development, bid management and industrial property management. Carolyn is a collaborative leader with a focus on building strong client-contractor-supply chain relationships to ensure ‘best for project’ outcomes. Andrew Baker

A meticulous, technically-minded leader, Andrew leverages more than 35 years of civil engineering experience delivering major rail and road infrastructure projects across Australia. He brings together key skill sets across engineering, commercial and project management, overseeing major infrastructure projects for tier-one contractors and public and private client organisations. As General Manager (Engineering), Andrew is a collaborative leader who drives his teams to work innovatively and seek exceptional results in delivering complex projects. He has leveraged these skills in delivering high-profile rail projects in complex urban and rural settings, including the Cross River Rail, Inland Rail and Level Crossing Removal Projects. Andrew is currently responsible for the overall engineering delivery of DT Infrastructure’s projects and brings valuable knowledge from his previous role as Regional General Manager – Rail Queensland at John Holland.

Emillie Sweeper

Emillie currently heads the legal and insurance functions, with responsibility for all related matters concerning DT Infrastructure projects whether in pre-contracts, delivery or close out. Her broad experience working in private practice and working in-house for both principals and contractors provides a well-rounded and commercial approach to supporting and advising the business. Previously, Emillie held positions in both the transactions and project delivery legal and commercial teams for Downer Transports Projects, providing guidance on a diverse range of infrastructure projects. Emillie commenced practicing at King & Wood Mallesons, where she worked on a variety of contentious and non-contentious construction and infrastructure matters, before transitioning to an in-house role at Stockland, one of Australia's leading residential land and housing developers. Her role involved advising on a multitude of brownfield and greenfield residential and commercial developments. Emillie holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons), Bachelor of International Business and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. She is also a registered adjudicator in Queensland and Northern Territory, member of the Australian Constructors Association Board and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

With over 15 years of construction experience, he has worked on rail, light rail, gas pipeline, mine, water, and tunnel construction projects. Prior to his current appointment, Marc worked at Thiess, McConnell Dowell and CPB in WHS management roles at project and regional level. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and has been with Downer and now DT Infrastructure since November 2016.

Pia Hansen

As the GM for Project Services, Pia leads the functional business and operational project services streams. Her collaborative leadership style provides clear management and delivery of project financial and commercial administration services as well as document control in a targeted manner. Pia directs payroll and facilities management, the consolidation of IT services including the management of all project and enterprise systems, the BI team, IMS management and IGM project reporting. Pia’s early career included 10 years as National Finance / Business Analyst with CBA Institutional Banking and ASX-listed FMCG companies, Southcorp Wines and Fosters. She has spent the last 15 years working across a range of activities for top tier construction companies in project controls and project management, culminating in the GM Project Services at DT Infrastructure. Pia joined the business in 2015 working on the construction of an ammonium nitrate plant in the Pilbara. She then moved into the newly created Infrastructure Projects business, successfully building the Project Services team. She holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics majoring in International Trade and Finance, and Bachelor of Civil Engineering.

Royden is a highly organised and results-focused accounting professional with more than 25 years’ hands-on experience. This includes over 14 years of service within the DT Infrastructure / Downer organisation, progressing to the General Manager Finance. Royden’s extensive background provides a wealth of well-rounded accounting and technical competencies, coupled with a keen attention to detail and ability to analyse intricate business requirements. Throughout his career with top tier businesses, he has accumulated a breadth of knowledge across various industries including mining, manufacturing, construction, and engineering. This diverse experience has equipped him with a deep understanding of complex financial landscapes. As well as excelling in financial management, Royden has also honed his leadership skills through supervising and mentoring selected teams. This has allowed him to foster strong relationships, and effectively recruit, deploy, and nurture employees to reach their maximum potential.

She has extensive experience advising on a broad range of complex infrastructure projects throughout the project lifecycle. In addition, Carolyn’s broader experience includes business development, bid management and industrial property management. Carolyn is a collaborative leader with a focus on building strong client-contractor-supply chain relationships to ensure ‘best for project’ outcomes. Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Laws and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
