Our early career professionals
Hear from our early career professionals about their experiences, career pathways and the opportunities they have had to learn, grow and contribute at DTI.
“My approach when I joined the DTI graduate program was to remain open-minded, ask questions and embrace every opportunity – even when stepping out of my comfort zone. I am proud that I have developed stronger technical and professional skills, particularly quality and stakeholder engagement. Building meaningful relationships with mentors, peers and leaders across DTI has enriched my experience.”
Madelyn Trappett
Engineering Graduate
“My time on the DTI graduate program has given me the opportunity to reflect on how much I have grown, both professionally and personally. My journey began when I joined DTI as an undergraduate, which provided me with a solid foundation for my transition to a graduate role. I am proud of how I have developed my confidence, strengthened my communication skills and learned how to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team. The program connected me with other graduates across the business and provided access to valuable development opportunities, showing me that learning and growth come from collaboration.”
Lien Don
Engineering Graduate
“My time on the DTI graduate program has been a rewarding experience. I’m proud of the growth in my confidence and my ability to handle tasks independently. Initially, I was unfamiliar with many of my tasks, but I gradually became more comfortable managing responsibilities and adapting to new challenges. I gained a stronger understanding of infrastructure projects and built a solid foundation for future growth. Through my work, I am protecting the environment, so it is great to know that the work I do makes a real difference!”
