DT Infrastructure (DTI) has formally launched its Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).

Endorsed by Reconciliation Australia, our Reflect RAP provides a structured framework to guide our actions from March 2026 to February 2027. It is built around the core pillars of relationships, respect, and opportunities, and sets out how we will strengthen our contribution to reconciliation across our business, projects and partnerships.

As a national construction and engineering business, we recognise the role we can play in supporting meaningful social impact and creating opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, businesses and communities. Through our Reflect RAP, DTI will focus on building cultural understanding, strengthening relationships, supporting supplier diversity and identifying practical opportunities to embed reconciliation into the way we work.

Reflections from our RAP committee co-chairs

DTI’s RAP committee will play an important role in the implementation and ongoing progress of our Reflect RAP.

The committee brings together representatives from across the business, including project delivery, communications, social impact, procurement and corporate functions. The cross-functional approach will help ensure our reconciliation actions are practical, visible and connected to the work we do every day.

To mark the launch, RAP committee co-chairs Vicki Kirk and Mike Rinaudo shared what this milestone means for DTI.

“Reconciliation is an ongoing journey that reminds us it requires more than reflection; it calls for meaningful action. Through our Reflect RAP, DTI has an opportunity to strengthen relationships, build greater understanding and contribute to positive change.

This is an important step in creating a more inclusive and equitable future, and I look forward to helping guide that work across our business.”
— Vicki Kirk, First Nations Advisor
“For me, reconciliation is about respectful relationships, cultural awareness, and creating practical opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and businesses.

Through DTI’s Reflect RAP, we can focus on actions that are meaningful, achievable and connected to the communities where we work.”

The artwork at the heart of our reconciliation journey

In 2025, DTI unveiled a commissioned artwork by Aboriginal artist Jeremy Donovan, which forms the visual identity of our reconciliation.

To create the piece, Jeremy spent time in our offices connecting with our team and learning more about DTI’s work, values and aspirations. These conversations helped shape the artwork, grounding it in the voices, stories and experiences of our people.

Through traditional designs and meaningful use of colour, the artwork captures themes of connection, partnership, inclusion and legacy. It reflects our commitment to building strong relationships and continuing to learn as we progress our reconciliation journey.

Now displayed in DTI’s Brisbane head office, the artwork is a visible and much-admired symbol of this commitment.

Our partnerships

At DTI, our partnerships are focused on people and long-term impact.

We are proud to partner with Yalari, a not-for-profit organisation that provides quality education opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from remote and regional communities.

Since the start of 2025, DTI has sponsored a student at St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School in Brisbane. We are proud to continue supporting her throughout her six-year high school journey.

Our partnership with Yalari reflects our commitment to supporting education, opportunity and the next generation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders.

Together with Yalari, DTI is proud to support and empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students on their educational journey.

Highlighting the broader impact of these collaborative relationships, Greg Rafferty, Head of Social Impact, emphasises that delivering on DT Infrastructure’s RAP commitments is a natural extension of the company’s social impact strategy, ensuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participation and economic opportunity are embedded directly into projects across the country.

“I’m incredibly proud of our leadership team and the RAP Committee for driving this vision, and grateful for how the wider DTI team has embraced the journey,”

“Together, we’re showing that by aligning our social and operational goals, we don’t just build infrastructure, we create real, lasting value for the communities we work in.”

DT Infrastructure RAP Launch

On May 28, 2026, DT Infrastructure marked a significant milestone and launched our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)

Leaders, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander partners, and invited guests gathered at the head office in Meanjin, situated on the lands of the Turrbal and Jagera/Yuggera peoples.

Bringing together 80 attendees and partners, the morning commenced with a powerful Welcome to Country, followed by a dance and didgeridoo performance by Tribal Experiences.

Following the ceremony, RAP Executive Sponsor Leon Izmiritlian joined Baan Group Founding Director Kane Ellis, Yalari alumnus Connor McGovern-Cubby, and RAP Committee Co-Chairs Vicki Kirk and Mike Rinaudo to reflect on the importance of reconciliation.

They emphasised DT Infrastructure’s commitment to fostering positive social impact, strengthening relationships, and supporting opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and businesses.

Reflecting on the mission driving the initiative, Leon highlighted that this RAP marks a new chapter for the company to become an intentional, structured participant in national efforts to improve economic and societal opportunities for Indigenous peoples.

The launch was a shared moment across the entire national business, with DTI teams from offices and project sites across the country tuning in via livestream, while guests in Brisbane continued the conversation over a lunch catered by Fig Jam & Co.

DT Infrastructure extended its gratitude to Reconciliation Australia, the RAP committee, and their partners for their vital support as the company takes this important step forward in its reconciliation journey.
